John & the Rulers are Americans doo-wop form Philadelphia, comprising John Hammond, Seth Jackson, Ken Putnum, and Danny Carl. Formed in 1956, their biggest hit was "My Brother" released in 1958. (lead singer John Hammond in 1957.

Baritone Seth Jackson (born June 30 1934 — Junurary 3, 1982), grew up in Philadelphia, he have 2 brothers nammed Dennis, and Paul. Second tenor Ken Putnum (born Kenny Putnum, December 1, 1939), grew up in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, he have 1 brother nammed Jack, and Bass Danny Carl (born May 24, 1941), grew up in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, he have only 1 brother nammed Brian Carl.
